Surface Preparation
The surface must be fully cured, structurally stable, level, even, clean and free from paint&contaminants such as dirt, dust, loose material, oils and chemicals. The use of a level bar is essential to ensure levelness and / or plumbness of the surface. For painted surfaces, acid etch or abrade paint to ensure proper bonding.
How to use 2in1 Mosaic Tile Adhesive & Grout
STEP 1:
Pour clean water into a container & add ABC 2 in 1 powder. Stir to attain a lump-free, creamy consistency. Use immediately after mixing and strictly observe 1 hour pot life.
Caution: Use only non-absorptive materials as mixing base (plastic pail or galvanized iron sheets).

STEP 2:
Dampen surface before application. Spread ABC 2 in 1 mortar with a notched trowel & position mosaic tiles immediately within 20 minutes open time. Press mosaic tiles with a rubber float to ensure good bonding & 100% mortar coverage. Use tile spacers for proper alignment & remember to carefully remove them before adhesive sets. Let tiles set for about 40 minutes. Do random checks to make sure all tile pieces are level & all tile sheets are properly adhered.
TIP: Use tile spacers for uniform grout lines & perfect alignment.
STEP 3:
Start grouting with a rubber float by spreading 2 in 1 mortar diagonally across the tile joints making sure all joints are uniformly filled. Wait for 5 minutes & carefully remove excess mortar with a damp sponge using diagonal strokes. Remove haze with a clean, damp & lint-free cloth. Don’t allow excess mortar to harden on tiles since it will be difficult to remove later on.
